Jean Behra (16 February 1921 – 1 August 1959) was a French Formula One driver who raced for the Gordini, Maserati, BRM, Ferrari and Porsche teams.

Behra was known for being hard-charging, fast and temperamental. He sometimes drove magnificently, but was accident prone.

Sadly, he was killed when he crashed his Porsche RSK in rainy weather at the AVUS, close to Berlin.
