Maurice Trintignant was a race driver from France. He competed in the Formula One championship from 1950 to 1964, a very long career at the time. He drove for Gordini, Ferrari, Vanwall, Rob Walker, Bugatti…

He won the Monaco Grand Prix twice, in 1955 driving a Ferrari and in 1958 driving a Cooper-Climax. The French driver also won the 1954 Le Mans 24 Hours with José Froilan Gonzalez driving a Ferrari 375 Plus.
