Sebastian Vettel got a reprimand from the stewards at the 2021 Hungarian Grand Prix, for not taking off his rainbow t-shirt, in solidarity of the Hungarian gay community who suffers from a discriminatory law, and this during the national anthem and the pre-race ceremony.
Sebastian reacted: “I’m happy… they can disqualify me. They can do whatever they want to me, I don’t care. I would do it again.”
Lewis Hamilton says he is ‘proud’ of Vettel for standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, and we at the Human Side of Racing fully agree with him.
