End of 1993, Ayrton Senna had decided to leave McLaren and join the Williams-Renault team, a package – engine and aerodynamics – he thought being superior, having seen Mansell dominate the 1992 season.

At the last race of the season, the 1993 Australian Grand Prix at Adelaide, he drove his last Formula One race for McLaren, started from pole position, raced brilliantly and finished first. It was his 41st Formula One and last win (picture below).

Senna drove 3 more Grand Prix in 1994, for Williams, started all three on pole in a car that proved difficult to handle, but he never scored another championship point… Then came Imola…
