The 1967 Canadian Grand Prix was a Formula One race held at Mosport Park in Ontario. This was the first Canadian Grand Prix to have World Championship status.
Australian Jack Brabham won this very first official Canadian Grand Prix in his Brabham-Repco, by lapping all except his Brabham teammate Denny Hulme. On the podium “Black Jack” declared: “Winning in a car bearing my name, powered by an Australian engine (Repco), is a tremendous satisfaction and a reason for pride.”
