Eddie Keizan

Eddie Keizan (1944-2016) was a South African racing driver from Johannesburg. He raced in three Formula One Grand Prix during the 1970s, debuting in 1973.

After successes in driving saloon cars and sports cars in his native South-Africa, Keizan moved to Formula 5000 where he won the national championship.

He participated in three South African Grand Prix at Kyalami, twice in a privately entered Tyrrell (ex Jackie Stewart) and once (picture above) in a Lotus 72 owned by local outfit Team Gunston.
