Philippe Alliot, born 27 July 1954, is a French former racing driver, who participated in 116 Formula One Grand Prix between 1984 and 1994, and in ten editions of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Picture above: Philippe Alliot, here with Team Principal Gérard Larrousse,  achieved his best result in F1 with the Larrousse Team in 1993, when he finished 5th at the San Marino Grand Prix in Imola.

At The Human Side of Racing, we are honoured he has accepted our invitation to become one of our ‘Star Contributors’, and soon we will post his first article.
