Max Papis is an Italian racing driver who has competed in Formula One, in Champ Car and at the Le Mans 24 Hours. He has three Champ Car victories and 11 podium finishes. He drove (took 7 starts) for Footwork in 1995 in Formula One, but failed to score a point.
Papis finished in sixth position (picture below) at Le Mans in 1997, driving a Ferrari 333SP with Gianpiero Moretti and Didier Theys.
