Jim Clark (1936-1968) was a British Formula One driver from Scotland, who won two World Championships, in 1963 and 1965. A versatile driver, fantastically gifted, he competed in sports cars, touring cars and in the Indianapolis 500. He was particularly associated with the Lotus marque and his founder Colin Chapman. Sadly, he perished in a Formula 2 race at Hockenheim on April 7, 1968. He is widely considered as one of the greatest drivers in the sports history.
