Jean-Louis Schlesser is a French racing driver with experience in circuit racing and cross-country rallying. He is the nephew of Jo Schlesser, a former Formula One driver who fatally crashed at the 1968 French Grand Prix. Jean-Louis himself attempted two Formula 1 races five years apart and is best known for his involvement in a collision with Senna in the closing stages of the 1988 Italian Grand Prix.
