Brian Redman (born in 1937) is a British race car driver who achieved spectacular success in sports car racing, particularly in 1969 and 1970, as a Porsche works driver.

In 1970, he drove a Gulf-sponsored Porsche 917K and a Porsche 908/3 for the John Wyer Automotive team (JWA), winning a handful of races with Jo Siffert, including the famous Targa Florio in Sicily and the 1000km of Spa-Francorchamps.

Oddly, Brian Redman and Jo Siffert, two of the best endurance drivers of their generation, never won the 24 Hours of Le Mans. In 1970, victory went to Hans Herrmann and Richard Attwood in a Porsche 917K.

Picture below: Brian Redman (at the wheel) and Jo Siffert shine (but do not win) during the 1970 1000 km of the Nürburgring, in their light and powerful Porsche 908/3. The Englishman declares: “The Nürburgring is the most fantastic challenge for a driver. Winning there is the ultimate trophy.”
