David Hobbs, born 9 June 1939, is a British former racing driver and TV commentator for CBS. In 1971, he was SCCA and F5000 champion and 1983 TransAm champ. Hobbs was so versatile, he also thrived racing touring cars, sports cars, IMSA, CanAm, IndyCar and F1. He raced Le Mans 20 times (3rd in 1969 and 1984).
