Red Bull became for the first time a Formula 1 team when Dietrich Mateschitz (picture-below with his adviser Danny Bahar) bought end of 2004 the team Jaguar Racing. A first outing for the red bull on a freshly repainted RB1, born Jaguar, with David Coulthard at the wheel at Jerez (picture-above) was going to seal the deal.
History was in the making and Coulthard later convinced his mate Adrian Newey to join the team in 2006 and definitely launch it with the known results. A still ongoing series!
