Welcome to our first ‘Star Contributor’. At the HSOR we particularly love Simon Pagenaud. Not only is he a very fast and professional race driver, he is a very nice and good person.

After a successful career in Sportscar racing that saw him winning the 2010 American Le Mans Series, he moved up to the IndyCar Series and very quickly made a strong impression. In 2015 he joined the very prestigious Penske Racing and nearly won the Indy 500, leading with less than 30 laps to go.

In 2016, driving a Dallara Chevrolet for Team Penske, Simon Pagenaud scored 5 consecutive podiums in the first races of the season, including 3 wins in a row. By the end of the season, he was crowned IndyCar champion. With 11 wins, 10 poles and 26 podiums so far, Simon Pagenaud is one of the favorites of the 2019 NTT Indycar Championship.
