In 1975, Jacques Laffite was irresistible: dominator of the European Formula 2 championship with six victories in the new Martini-BMW (here-above) and first podium for Frank Williams in Grand Prix at the great Nürburgring (middle picture), even tough his priority went to the F2 over the F1…

On top of this, partnering Arturo Merzario, he won several endurance races with Alfa Romeo in the mighty 33TT12 (picture here-under), and thus won the World Makes title. Forza Jacquot!
