Derek Bell (born 31 October 1941) is a British racing driver. In sportscar racing, he won the Le Mans 24 Hours five times, the Daytona 24 Hours three times and the World Sportscar Championship twice. He also raced in Formula One between 1968 and 1974 for the Ferrari, McLaren, Surtees and Tecno teams.

Derek Bell drove all types of Porsches: 917, 936, 956, 962, all legendary numbers tamed by the excellent Brit. He has been described by fellow racer Hans-Joachim Stuck as one of the most liked drivers of his generation. A real gentleman.

The perfect team-mate in the 24 Hours for the likes of Jacky Ickx and Hans Stuck, a very safe pair of hands, he scored no less than 5 victories in La Sarthe.

Le Mans victories : 1975 (Mirage), 1981, 1982, 1986, 1987 (Porsche).
