Niki Lauda crosses the finishing line victoriously in his Ferrari 312B3 at the 1974 Dutch Grand Prix held at Circuit Zandvoort. It was race 8 of 15 of the F1 championship and Lauda scored the  second F1 victory of his career after the one obtained in Spain, two months earlier.

The Ferraris had dominated qualifying with Lauda on pole, 0.6 sec. ahead of team mate Regazzoni and a full second quicker than the McLarens of Fittipaldi and Hailwood. Same scenario in the race, when Lauda and Regazzoni disappeared in the distance and scored a 1-2 for the Scuderia, while Fittipaldi and Hailwood crossed the line thirty seconds later.

This was the 100th Grand Prix start for a Ford-powered car. In those 100 races, Ford-powered cars had won 72 times, achieved 191 podium finishes, 63 pole positions and 63 fastest laps, but here in the Dutch dunes, it was Ferrari at its flat-12 engine that prevailed.
