In French F3

Marc Duez and Eric van de Poele are deep in discussion (photo above) before the round of the 1984 French Formula 3 championship, run on the Rouen-les-Essarts circuit.

These two Belgian drivers, great friends in real life, are indeed making a guest appearance in the French F3 championship. Marc Duez is driving a Ralt RT3/84-Volkswagen for the Belgian Volkswagen Team and will finish sixth, while Eric van de Poele will be forced to retire in his Anson SA4 – Toyota Novamotor.
