012: lightweight but… illegal
The Tyrrell 012-Cosworth is a Formula 1 racing car that was designed by Maurice Philippe, for the Tyrrell team for the 1983 season and subsequently used in 1984 and the first races of 1985.

Ken Tyrrell continued to trust young, promising drivers and for 1984 he chose Martin Brundle and Stefan Bellof. Both drivers very much impressed in their rookie seasons in F1, achieving solid placings and a podium place each.
Stefan Bellof showed his class at the Monaco Grand Prix, where starting 20th, he moved up to third after 31 laps in the pouring rain, and was catching the leaders Prost and Senna when the race was stopped.
The Tyrrell cars, picture below at the Belgium Grand Prix, were later disqualified by the FIA for various rule infringements and the team was excluded from the championship.
