The Alfa Romeo T33/TT/12s of Henri Pescarolo-Derek Bell and Arturo Merzario-Mario Andretti did not give each other any presents during the 6 Hours of Watkins Glen, ninth round of the 1975 World Championship for Makes.

The two prototypes entered by the Willy Kauhsen Racing Team (WKRT) dominated the event and finished in that order and on the same lap, while the Alpine-Renault A442 Turbo of Jean-Pierre Jarier-Gérard Larrousse finished third, but three laps behind the Italian cars.

The Alfa Romeo T33/TT/12 won seven of the nine rounds of the 1975 World Championship for Makes, leaving only crumbs for the competition: A Porsche Brumos (Haywood-Gregg) won the 24 Hours of Daytona, and an Alpine-Renault (Jabouille-Larrousse) won at Mugello.
