Jim Clark and his Lotus 49-Ford at the hairpin of turn 6, during the 1967 Mexico Grand Prix. The Scot dominates this race in such fashion, that nobody can be seen in the distance (picture-above).
It was race 11 of 11 in the 1967 Formula One world championship and it was won by over a minute by Jim Clark in his Lotus 49 ahead of Jack Brabham, despite not being able to use his clutch during almost the entire race.
New Zealander Denny Hulme (picture-below) clinched his only World Championship by coming home third in his Brabham BT24-Repco, earning the necessary points to edge out teammate and three-time World Champion Jack Brabham by just three points.
