When you’re a Ferrari driver, like Niki Lauda and Clay Regazzoni were in 1974, you’re also an ambassador for FIAT, and you’re requested to promote the brand at the Turin Auto Show. Both Scuderia drivers acquitted themselves well of their duties, as seen on the picture here-above.
1974 was a rebirth year for the Scuderia Ferrari, after the disastrous previous season. The new 312B3-74, designed by Mauro Forghieri was competitive: Niki Lauda won two Grand Prix and finished fourth in the standings, while Clay Regazzoni (picture below) won one race, and only lost the drivers’ title to Fittipaldi (McLaren) on the last round at Watkins Glen.
