Carlos Reutemann won the 1974 Austrian Formula 1 Grand Prix in a works Brabham BT44. The Argentinian, had a perfect start from second on the grid, took the lead from poleman Niki Lauda (Ferrari), and was never seen again. He crossed the finishing line with a lead of 42 seconds on his closest opponent.

Lauda had to retire his Ferrari 312B3 on lap 17 with engine problems, so Denny Hulme in a McLaren M23 finished second, and third was James Hunt in his Hesketh, who appears (picture above) to be trying to attract someone’s attention with a rather obvious air-kiss. Knowing James’ reputation, one can only imagine the post-race celebrations he had in mind.
