Ayrton Senna, Gerhard Berger and Alain Prost don’t seem to enjoy the post-race interviews at the 1990 Brazilian Grand Prix held at Interlagos. Remember, by then, Prost and Senna were bitter rivals and after clinching the 1989 Drivers’ Championship in controversial fashion, Alain Prost had left McLaren for the Scuderia Ferrari.

Here at Interlagos, Senna was understandingly disappointed because after taking pole position, he led until he collided with Satoru Nakajima in a Tyrrell-Ford, allowing Prost and his Ferrari (picture-below) through. Prost took his 40th Grand Prix victory, and his sixth and final Brazilian win, with Senna’s teammate Gerhard Berger second and Senna himself recovering to third.
