Ayrton Senna, Gerhard Berger and Alain Prost don’t seem to enjoy the post-race interviews at the 1990 Belgian  Grand Prix held at Spa-Francorchamps. Remember, by then, Prost and Senna were bitter rivals and after clinching the 1989 Drivers’ Championship in controversial fashion, Alain Prost had left McLaren for the Scuderia Ferrari.

Here at Spa-Francorchamps, Ayrton Senna claimed his fifth race victory for the season in his McLaren MP4/5B taking a four-second win over the Ferrari 641 (picture-below) driven by the reigning world champion, Frenchman Alain Prost.

It was Senna’s fourth victory in the Belgian Ardennes, and his third in succession, while Senna’s Austrian team mate Gerhard Berger finished third, and further back, Brazilian Mauricio Gugelmin scored one point for the Leyton House team.

  1. I don’t think this is at Interlagos. Look at the trophy between PROST’s feet. It seems to be Spa !
