All-round champion

Victorious of the 1969 Indianapolis 500, Mario Andretti was also dominant in the USAC championship, where the drivers competed on ovals and road courses but also on some dirt tracks! (picture above)

In 1970, Mario also competed in Formula One Grand Prix, driving a March 701, as in August of the same year where he was seen on the hills of Zeltweg for the Austrian Grand Prix (picture below), and then a few days later on the dirt track of Springfield where Super Mario duelled with none other than A.J.Foyt, who seems (picture above) quite surprised by the versatility of his opponent, who was not even bothered by jet-lag…
