			In 1950, the Italian Nino Farina, driving an Alfa Romeo, wins the first race counting for a World Championship of Formula 1, at Silverstone. At the end of the year, he becomes the first F1 Drivers World Champion.
He drove for Alfa Romeo in 1950-1951 and then for Ferrari from 1952 to 1955. His F1 record: 5 Grand Prix victories, 5 pole positions, 20 podiums.
