In 1959, there were doubts among critics about whether Jack Brabham deservedly became the World Champion, as they said that he simply benefitted from Stirling Moss’s persistent misfortunes.
However, by the end of the 1960 season, there were no doubts left about Brabham’s skill. Behind the wheel of the Cooper-Climax T53, he won the Dutch (picture-below), Belgian, French and Portuguese GPs, securing his second consecutive World Championship victory with a clear points advantage.
