Sir Stirling Moss, one of the all time greats, turns 90 today.

Known as “the greatest driver never to win the Drivers World Championship”, Moss was runner-up four years in a row from 1955 until 1958 and third in 1959, 1960 and 1961.

Moss won in all categories of motorsport he was competing in, his career includes 16 Grand Prix wins for Mercedes, Vanwall and the Rob Walker Team.

He was Juan Manuel Fangio’s greatest rival, and both respected each other tremendously.

Stirling Moss won 212 of the 529 races he competed in. A giant of motorsport.
