Karl Wendlinger is an Austrian racing driver. He drove in Formula 1 from 1991 to 1995 for the team Leyton House, March and Sauber. Wendlinger had a terrible accident at Monaco in 1994. He came back one year later, but it was basically the end to a promising career. He scored a total of 14 career points in 41 starts. He finished 3rd in the 1996 Le Mans 24 Hours.
I met him in Abu Dhabi in 2016, we had a nice chat, he’s a very nice and humble person.
