Fifty two years ago, on April 7 1968, Jim Clark perished on a damp day at Hockenheim during a Formula 2 race.
The world was rocked and saddened, the Scot being considered as a living legend, a man that all being equal could not be beaten, a man of true elegance.
Clark achieved 25 Grand Prix wins with Lotus – a record at the time – and two world titles (1963 and 1965) along the way.
