Ingo Hoffmann (born 28 February 1953) in São Paolo in Brazil, is a former Brazilian racing driver. After a brief passage in Formula 1, he starred in the Brazilian stock car championship, than he won 12 times.
He entered four Grand Prix in 1976, did not succeed to qualify in three of them and an eleventh place at the Brazilian Grand Prix held at Interlagos (picture-above) was the best result achieved.
In 1977, Hoffmann competed at Buenos Aires (retired, engine failure, picture-below) and again at Interlagos where he finished seventh, two laps behind the winner. However, that was Hoffmann’s last race in F1, as the second Fittipaldi entry was withdrawn.
