Formula One World Champion for the second time in 1965 and winner of the 500 Miles of Indianapolis, Jim Clark was offered a generous starting premium to compete in the hillclimb of Ollon-Villars in Switzerland.
The Scottish champion took the start aboard his Lotus 38, winner of the Indy 500 (picture above). A young photographer, aged 12 at the time (!), our friend Paul-Henri Cahier, took the picture below.
