Jacky Ickx and Ronnie Peterson were team mates in Colin Chapman’s Team Lotus in 1974 and 1975, the two drivers getting along well, witness the picture above, although Peterson was able to master the Lotus 72, three victories in Monaco, France and Italy, while Ickx won the Race of Champion, but generally couldn’t match the Swede’s speed.
