The #60 Meyer Shank Racing Acura, driven by Oliver Jarvis, Tom Blomqvist, Hélio Castroneves and Simon Pagenaud, took overall victory in the 2022 Daytona 24 Hours, in one of the most competitive editions in the race history. The top four overall finishers led for at least 88 laps each and the final margin of 3.028 seconds was the third closest in race history.
For French driver Simon Pagenaud, winner of the 2019 Indianapolis 500 and who, a few times in the past, came very close to victory in this race, its a ” great joy to finally win this great race” and new important ligne he can now add to his impressive resumé.
