Fernando Alonso moved from Renault to Ferrari in 2010 after Renault were investigated for race fixing in Singapore and Raikkonen, which performances compared to team mate Massa were disappointing, was released from the team.

The Spaniard won five races in 2010 for Ferrari and entered the season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix leading by eight points on Webber and Vettel (Red Bull) after being 47 behind mid-season.

Alonso missed the title by 4 points only, when his team made the mistake to concentrate it’s strategy on the other title contender Mark Webber, and finished runner-up to Sebastian Vettel after he was unable to pass Renault’s Vitaly Petrov (picture here-under).
