At the finish of the legendary Grand Prix held at the Nürburgring in 1957, one could read on the faces of the heroes of the day, admiration for Peter Collins and amazement in the eyes of Mike Hawthorn, for the winner Juan Manuel Fangio, exhausted by the effort and extreme concentration needed in his incredible recovery, after the fabulous driving lesson given by the Maestro on the mighty Nürburgring (picture below).
The story of this exceptional race is well known, but the images are so beautiful!
