Niki Lauda (Ferrari 312B3) and Carlos Reutemann (Brabham BT44) align side by side, on the front row of the 1974 Austrian Formula 1 Grand Prix at Zeltweg.
Note the beauty of the cars of the 70s, with very few visible sponsors and different design philosophies that made these easily recognisable, one from the other.
Niki Lauda (Ferrari 312B3) took pole to the delight of his home crowd, but had to retire with a broken engine on lap 17.
Carlos Reutemann (Brabham BT44) won the race convincingly (picture below), 42 seconds head of the ever present Denny Hulme (McLaren) and young charger James Hunt (Hesketh).
