Nightly pitstop for the Bentley 41/2 driven by André Erlinger and Dudley Benjafield at the 1929 Le Mans 24 Hours (superb picture above). The pair finished third.
Bentley was again dominant, taking the first four places on distance. Owner of the great marque, Woolf Barnato, repeated his victory (picture below) of the previous year in a Bentley Speed Six, co-driven by Henri ‘Tim’ Birkin.
Woolf Barnato achieved three consecutive wins out of three entries (1928, 1929, 1930) in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
