360 degrees, to illustrate the double spin done by futur winner Danny Sullivan during the 1985 edition of the 500 Miles of Indianapolis, at the wheel of a Penske-entered March 85C: he thus entered in the legend of the Speedway for his “spin and win”.
“Hollywood Danny” (who will later appear in TV series Miami Vice), had raced in Formula 1 for Tyrrell, before a very successful return to IndyCar in the US.
Two years later, while his car featured the golden colors of his sponsor “Miller High Life” (a light version of the Miller beers), he jokingly told me: “Do you know the difference between my sponsor and making love on the beach ? Both are fucking close to water!”
