Talk of the town is “Le Mans 66”, a great movie, with Matt Damon and Christian Bale, that depicts the great rivalry opposing Ford and Ferrari at the Le Mans 24 Hours.
Here-above is an interesting picture showing two drivers of Italian origin driving for the Ford armada against the Scuderia Ferrari: Young American Mario Andretti and Belgian Lucien Bianchi, paired in a Ford GT40 MKII #6, fielded by team Holman & Moody (retired after 8 hours, engine broken).
Noted, in the picture above, the presence of Léon Sven (in a blue blazer), president of the Royal Automobile Club of Spa at the time, and organiser of the Spa 1000 km.
