The 1969 Sebring 12 Hours were held on 22 March 1969 on the Sebring International Raceway and were won by the Ford GT40 No. 22 driven by Jacky Ickx and Jackie Oliver.

New-Zealander Chris Amon, seen here jumping into his Ferrari at the start, and American Mario Andretti battled all the way in their works Ferrari 312P Spyder with the JW Automotive-entered Gulf Gord GT 40 of Ickx and Oliver, who won the race by 1 lap over the Ferrari.

Excellent result for the Wicky Racing Team Porsche 911T, driven by Gérard Larrousse, André Wicky and Jean Sage who finished in 12th position, winners of the GT 2.0 class.

Picture below: Flawless race for the works Ford GT40 of Jacky Ickx and Jackie Oliver (at the wheel), and another victory for the team led by John Wyer and David Yorke.
