The Chevrolet Camaro of Ivo Grauls and Chris Tuerlinx is ready for the start of the 1969 24 Hours of Francorchamps. Unfortunately, this fast pairing and its might Camaro will retire when their engine broke. Victory went to Guy Chasseuil and Claude Ballot-Léna in their Ford France – Sonauto-entered Porsche 911 (picture-below) in front of three other 911s.
Yvo Grauls, born 8 July 1940 in Sint-Truiden (Belgium) and who sadly died in a fiery accident on the Chimay circuit on 21st May 1972, was a Belgian racing car driver, who mainly participated in the Belgian Touring Cars championship in the 1960s and 1970s. He dominated several races on bard of his very powerful Chevrolet Camaro.
