2000!
The 2000 FIA Formula 1 World Championship was the 54th official F1 season. Michael Schumacher (picture above) became Ferrari’s first World Champion in 21 years – the last being Jody Scheckter in 1979 – having clinched the Drivers’ title at the penultimate race of the season.
It was Michael’s third Formula 1 crown: a hard fought one, against the McLarens of Mika Hakkinen and David Coulthard, after the two titles obtained with Benetton in 1994 and 1995.
As for us, at the Human Side of Racing, we celebrate today an important milestone: our 2000th article! It has been a fascinating journey since 2019, a real joy to produce every day an original and (hopefully) interesting article, and our community has since steadily grown.
The ones who are familiar with the website know that thanks to the filters (see below), it is easy to find all the articles concerning your favourite drivers: all the stories, the opinions, and much more. See you at the 3000th post!
