Excellent surprise at the 2020 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps with the presentation of a beautiful ‘Art Car’ designed by acclaimed American artist Peter Halley.
This BMW M6 GT3, an initiative of Brussels gallery owner Alain Noirhomme and entered by the Boutsen Ginion team was on track last week-end during the famous Belgian 24 Hours.
In the capable hands of young Belgian Benjamin Lessennes who impressed everyone, BMW factory driver Jens Klinsmann and endurance veterans Karim Ojjeh and Gilles Vannelet, the car performed well indeed, and moved up the field from 51st on the grid to 25th and 5th in the pro-am category at the checkered flag.
Well done, and what a great idea to combine art and speed.
