Hülkenberg replaces Pérez

Sergio Pérez having been tested positive to the Covid-19 virus and placed in isolation, will not be able to race until further notice.

Racing Point, obliged to find a replacement quickly, have decided to hire Nico Hülkenberg, excellent driver… without a drive, fast and reliable, experienced, and known by the team, for the next two races minimum.

The German is going to do his great come-back, in a competitive car today already, during Friday’s free practice.

Expect him to be a bit rusty at first, he has not raced a Formula 1 in anger since end of 2019, but expect him also to progress all through the week-end.
