The Lottery Grand Prix is a very popular event in Italy, raced on the Autodromo of Monza, at the end of the month June.
In 1977, the two heats were won by Elio de Angelis (Chevron) and Beppe Gabbiani (Ralt), two young Italian drivers who will later progress into Formula 2 and Formula 1.
