Jochen and Nina Rindt

In March 1967, Jochen Rindt married Nina Lincoln, a Finnish model and daughter of racing driver Curt Lincoln. Nina was (as always) on the pitwall when Jochen was killed during practice of the Italian Grand Prix at Monza on the 5th of September 1970. He had accumulated enough points, and was nevertheless crowned 1970 Drivers’ World Champion.
