Clemens Schickentanz and John Fitzpatrick (picture) qualified their Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 16th for the 1973 Spa 1000 km and were 2nd on the grid in the GT Category, but failed to finish the race.
Derek Bell and Mike Hailwood, Mirage M6-Ford won the race, while the works Follmer / Jöst Porsche Carrera RSR finished 10th overall and won the GT category.
