Skip Barber is an American former race car driver who is most famous for previously owning and founding the Skip Barber Racing Schools. At the start of the 1971 season, he purchased a March 711 F1 car and took part in the Monaco GP, Dutch GP (picture above), United States GP, and Canadian GP in a privately funded March. He returned to the U.S. and Canadian races in 1972, but did not succeed to score any championship point. After that, he raced GT cars.
